World Hug Day (poem)

I wish, I pray that, there be one day in a year called Hug day,

just like Valentine's day, Mother's day and Earth day.


A day when each person warmly hugs another anywhere,

be it in the grocery store, park, at work place, home

or across state and national borders.


A day in a year, when each individual dissolves hatred,

opens arms for a complete embrace,

feels the heart melting,

and sees tears smile.
