Clearing up the Heart Garbage (poem)

On every Thursday morning,

garbage truck drives around,

my block to collect the trash,

from the bins placed outside,

every garage of 500 homes,

but the truck never drives,

into the garage to clean up,

all that accumulated trash.



Similarly, bothering thoughts,

which constantly resurface,

need to be cautiously poured,

completely out of the system,

each and every time they arise,

through writing and sketching,

to keep the heart always clear,

and prevent feeling helpless.
