This was written for my childhood friend, who is getting married on Nov. 21 the second time. I think she has a lot of courage.
Hats off to her with this prayer.
***
In this journey,
I pray,
that your souls,
complete each other,
when close,
but care for each other, always,
melt in each other's gaze,
in public,
but miss each other's warmth, always,
hear each other's silence,
over the phone,
but listen to each other intently, always,
hug each other tearfully,
in pain,
but smile thinking about each other, always.
