My house was a home (poem)

The living room was small, the bedroom was big.
The kitchen was simple, the bathroom was fancy.

The bedrooms were empty, the book-shelves were full.
The front patio was pretty, the back patio was sunny.


The mother was loving, the father was protective.
The brother was teasing, the sister was showering.

The friends were umpteen, the relatives were many.
My house was a home, where the blessings were many.
