Why is it so difficult to be Honest? (poem)

Why is it so difficult for me,
to observe and acknowledge,
that I am very uneasy,
around some specific people?

Why is it so difficult for me,
to remember once and for all,
that I get scary dreams,
after reading disturbing news?

Why is it so difficult for me,
to realize every now and then,
that I still have dreams,
that are longing to be fulfilled?

Why is it so difficult for me,
to accept and register forever,
that I need to embrace,
ALL with compassion and faith?
