Seek with Surrender (poem)

When, I surrendered, my thoughts, needs and wants,
When, I surrendered, my mind, body, heart and soul,
When, I surrendered, my senses, longings and desires,
When, I surrendered, my blood, cells, skin and bones,

Then, there was, nothing, between me and my Lord,
Then, there was, nothing, that was any longer mine.
Then, there was, nothing, more to speak, or request.
Then, there was, nothing, to seek, in that smiling me.
